Architects Prakash Deshmukh (b. 1953) and Zuber Shaikh (b. 1956), both graduates from Abhinav Kala Mahavidyalaya established Space Designers' Syndicate in 1980. This collection contains records of building projects ranging from 1980 to 2001. They vary from residential to commercial and institutional projects. Some notable building projects include, Kalpana Empress, Mughal Gardens, Gokul Gardens, several institutional buildings in the Azam Campus. The majority of the architectural drawings were drawn on tracing sheets, however, there are a substantial number of ammonia prints as well.
